1. Plans overview: Ayanfe, Ide, Fadaka, Wura

Summary: Yetunde has four tiers — Ayanfe, Ide, Fadaka, and Wura. Higher tiers unlock more features, a wider matching pool, and reduced ads. All paid plans are one-time consumables that run from your purchase date; they do not auto-renew.

What to know

Ayanfe (Free) — The starting point for every verified member.

  • Limited daily swipes
  • Match with other Ayanfe members in your country of residence
  • Text-only chat (no photos or audio)
  • No search filters or distance settings
  • 1 cross-tier like-back per day (respond to likes from higher-tier members)
  • 1 free 24-hour booster per month
  • Ads shown at high frequency

Ide — For members ready to be more active.

  • Everything in Ayanfe, plus:
  • Photos and audio messages in chat
  • Advanced search filters (values, profession, relationship intent, and more)
  • Distance filter
  • Match with Ayanfe and Ide members
  • 2 cross-tier like-backs per day
  • 1 free 24-hour booster per month
  • Ads shown at medium frequency

Fadaka — Access to the full regional matching pool.

  • Everything in Ide, plus:
  • Match with all tiers, including Wura — this is Fadaka's key upgrade from Ide
  • 3 cross-tier like-backs per day
  • 1 free 24-hour booster per month
  • Ads shown at low frequency

Wura (Premium — Global) — The full Yetunde experience, built for the diaspora and anyone connecting across borders.

  • Everything in Fadaka, plus:
  • Global visibility — your profile is visible to, and you can see, Yetunde members worldwide
  • Incognito mode — hide your profile from discovery (Wura exclusive)
  • Unlimited cross-tier matching — no daily like-back cap
  • No ads
  • No booster needed — all booster benefits are built into the tier

Important billing notes

  • Plans are purchased as one-time consumables, not recurring subscriptions. When your plan period ends, you purchase again manually from Profile → Upgrade.
  • Plans are not prorated. Your billing period starts from the exact moment of purchase.
  • You can upgrade at any time. Downgrades are not available mid-cycle — you can choose a lower tier at renewal.
  • If you are based outside Nigeria and want to connect with Yoruba singles back home or globally, Wura is designed for exactly that use case. Lower tiers are geo-locked to your country of residence, which can mean a smaller pool in diaspora cities.

2. Boosters explained (Booster24 & Booster48)

Summary: Boosters give your account a temporary capability upgrade — for 24 or 48 hours. They do not change your plan tier. Wura members do not need boosters; all booster benefits are already included in that tier.

What a booster does

  • Unlocks media messaging — Ayanfe members can send photos and audio for the duration. If you are on Ide or above, you already have media messaging, so this benefit does not apply to you.
  • Removes the cross-tier like-back cap — Your daily limit (1 for Ayanfe, 2 for Ide, 3 for Fadaka) is lifted entirely for the booster window. Respond to as many higher-tier likes as you want.

Free monthly booster Every tier except Wura receives 1 free 24-hour booster per month. Even Ayanfe members get a monthly window to send media and interact with higher-tier members without restriction.

Purchasing additional boosters Extra boosters can be purchased from the Store tab within the app.

Important: Boosters are consumed on activation. They do not pause if you close the app, and unused time does not roll over.

Tips

  • Refresh your photos and bio before activating a booster — you want the extra visibility to convert into matches.
  • Slightly widening your preferences (age range, distance) during the boost window can increase the pool of people who see you.
  • Activate your booster when you are actively browsing and replying — not when you are about to step away from the app.

3. Buy a plan or booster (iOS & Android)

Summary: All purchases on both iOS and Android go through each platform's native in-app purchase flow — the App Store on iOS, and Google Play on Android. There is no external payment processor on either platform.

Steps (iOS — App Store)

  1. Open Profile → Upgrade (or the Store tab for boosters).
  2. Select the plan or booster you want.
  3. Confirm via Apple in-app purchase. Your Apple ID payment method will be charged.

Steps (Android — Google Play)

  1. Open Profile → Upgrade (or the Store tab for boosters).
  2. Select the plan or booster you want.
  3. Confirm via Google Play in-app purchase. Your Google Play payment method will be charged.

If access didn't activate after payment

This occasionally happens when the platform processes the charge before our system receives the confirmation. To resolve it:

  • iOS: Find your Apple order ID in your Apple receipt email, or go to Settings → [Your Name] → Media & Purchases → Purchase History.
  • Android: Find your Google Play order ID in your Gmail confirmation email, or go to Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Purchase history.

Send your order ID to Support and we will verify and sync your purchase manually.

4. Plan limits & cross-tier like-backs

Summary: Each tier has different daily cross-tier like-back limits and feature access. When you reach your daily like-back limit, the app will notify you — activate a booster to remove the cap temporarily, or wait for the daily reset.

Plan Daily cross-tier like-backs Chat media Visibility
Ayanfe 1 per day Text only (media via booster) Country of residence
Ide 2 per day Photos & audio Country of residence (expanded pool)
Fadaka 3 per day Photos & audio All tiers, country of residence
Wura Unlimited Photos & audio Global

Notes

  • Cross-tier like-backs are how lower-tier members respond to likes from higher-tier members. This is capped per day by tier; Wura has no cap.
  • Activating a booster removes the cross-tier like-back cap for the booster's duration. It does not permanently change your tier limit.
  • To review your current plan, go to Profile → Upgrade.

5. Prices & currency

Summary: Yetunde's plan prices are set in Nigerian Naira (NGN). Your App Store or Google Play storefront converts the price into your regional currency. The amount shown at checkout is what you will be charged.

What this means for you

  • The price you see on your purchase confirmation screen is your local equivalent of the NGN base price, converted by your platform's storefront at the time of purchase.
  • The exact figure may differ from what a member in another country sees, because each storefront applies its own conversion and pricing rounding.
  • Exchange rates are updated periodically by the platforms, so the price in your local currency may shift slightly between purchases.
  • To see exactly what you will pay, always check the in-app purchase confirmation screen before completing the transaction.

6. Refunds & receipts

Summary: Refund eligibility and the process for requesting one depend on which platform you purchased on.

iOS (App Store) Refunds for App Store purchases must be requested directly through Apple. Yetunde cannot process iOS refunds on Apple's behalf. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support.

Android (Google Play) Contact our Support team and we will review your case in line with Google Play's refund policies.

Finding your proof of payment

You will need your order ID for any refund request or purchase investigation.

  • iOS: Your Apple receipt email, or go to Settings → [Your Name] → Media & Purchases → Purchase History.
  • Android: Your Google Play order confirmation email, or go to Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Purchase history.

Include your order ID in any Support ticket — it is the fastest way for us to locate your transaction.

7. Managing your plan: upgrades & boosters

Summary: You can move to a higher plan at any time from Profile → Upgrade. Because plans are one-time consumables and not auto-renewing subscriptions, you renew manually when your current plan expires. Add boosters any time from the Store tab for a short capability push.

Upgrades

  • Upgrades take effect immediately.
  • Downgrades are not available mid-cycle. You can choose a lower tier (or return to Ayanfe) at renewal.
  • There is no proration — your new plan period starts from the moment of purchase.

Boosters

  • Available to Ayanfe, Ide, and Fadaka members. Wura members do not need them.
  • Each tier includes 1 free 24-hour booster per month. Additional boosters are available from the Store tab.
  • A booster starts counting down the moment you activate it, whether or not you are actively using the app.

Tips

  • Since you control renewal timing, it is worth checking Profile → Upgrade as your plan approaches expiry to avoid an unintended gap in access.
  • Activate a booster when you are actively browsing and replying — timed well, a booster window can meaningfully increase your match rate.
  • Update your photos and bio before activating to make the most of the increased visibility.

8. Troubleshooting a failed purchase

Summary: Most purchase failures are linked to the payment method on your App Store or Google Play account, or a brief connectivity issue. Work through the checks below before contacting Support.

Quick checks

  1. Check your payment method — confirm the card or payment method linked to your Apple ID or Google account is valid and has sufficient funds.
  2. iOS: Go to Settings → [Your Name] → Payment & Shipping and verify your payment method is active and your Apple ID region is correct.
  3. Android: Go to Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Payment methods and confirm your payment method is active.
  4. Update the app — ensure you are on the latest version of Yetunde, then retry the purchase on a stable Wi-Fi connection.
  5. Retry once — if the first attempt failed, try once more after confirming the above. Avoid repeated rapid retries.
  6. Still blocked? Contact Support and include your Apple order ID or Google Play order ID. Even if the purchase shows as failed, a partial transaction record can help us investigate.

Note: Both iOS and Android purchases go through native platform billing (App Store and Google Play respectively). If your platform account has outstanding balance issues or payment method flags, these need to be resolved directly with Apple or Google before a purchase can go through.
